part of a technical team that presented a plan for a Rapid Deployment Prison in connection with the United Nations Department of Peace Keeping Operations. The technical team presented their ideas for a Rapid Deployment Prison to the International Corrections and Prison Association at its annual meeting in Ghent, Belgium. The plan includes constructing a rapidly deployable prison made, in part, from shipping containers. HMC was in charge of pricing and scheduling for the project. In addition, HMC constructed a prototype housing unit that was presented at the conference. This meeting was the culmination of a yearlong effort to launch this initiative for the UNDPKO.
